- The right to data portability (effective from June 2025): Where technically feasible, a user may request the Company to transfer their personal data to another data controller.
Data Breach Notification: In the event of a personal data breach, the Company will, as required by the PDPA:
- Notify the Commissioner of Personal Data Protection as soon as possible.
- Notify affected users “without undue delay” if the breach is likely to cause significant harm.
Cross-Border Data Transfer:
- The Company will only conduct cross-border data transfers if the receiving country has an equivalent or adequate level of data protection, or if the transfer meets a lawful exception stipulated in the PDPA (such as user consent, contract performance, etc.).
- The Company will regularly conduct a Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA) and review it at least every three years.
Data Protection Officer (DPO): If the Company meets the thresholds required by the PDPA, it shall legally appoint a qualified Data Protection Officer and complete the registration.
Electronic Transactions and Consumer Protection
The Company complies with the relevant provisions of the E-Commerce Act 2006 and the Consumer Protection Act 1999, and shall provide the following information as required by law:
- The full name and registration number of the company.
- The company’s contact information (including email and phone number).
- A description of the main characteristics of the goods or services.
- The total price of the goods or services, including taxes and shipping fees.
- Payment methods and terms.
- Estimated time for delivery or performance.
- Channels for user complaints or after-sales service.
Electronic signatures and electronic contracts shall have legal validity in accordance with the ECA when they meet the legal requirements.
